The GoodWe ESA Series is a fully integrated all-in-one solar and storage system. The inverter and battery come in one pre-wired, modular design, which makes installation faster and easier, and the system can grow as your energy needs change.
Key Features and Performance
Whole-Home Backup: UPS-level, full-house backup up to 63A, with no gateway needed. Backup switching takes less than 4ms.
Flexible Scaling: 5kWh and 8kWh battery modules can be mixed in a single stack of up to 54kWh, with up to 6 stacks in parallel. Modules of different capacities, and old and new modules, can be mixed. GoodWe's ESA datasheet also lists 6.0kWh and 9.0kWh modules based on its Lynx D G2 technology (GW9.0-BAT-D-G20: 9.0kWh rated, 8.85kWh usable).
Fast Charging: the battery modules charge and discharge at 1C.
Technical Excellence & Safety
- MPPTs: 2 to 4 MPPTs, each taking up to 26A short-circuit input current, with 20A per string and up to 200% PV oversizing.
- Safety: 6-level battery protection and AI-driven AFCI 3.0 as standard.
- Quiet: a fanless design; 30dB or less on the 3 to 6kW models and 35dB or less on the 8 and 10kW models.
- Weatherproof: IP66, wall or floor mounted.
